We want to be Safe and Sound
| More than 100 girls participating in The LIGHT of GIRLS across 9 countries have jointly built a manifesto with 11 demands, calling on States and Governments to guarantee their right to live Safe and Sound. This year, we especially raise our voice for one of these demands: the end of child and forced marriage, one of the most serious forms of violence that continues to take childhood away from millions of girls worldwide. That is why we are calling on the United Nations to create an International Day for the Eradication of Forced Child Marriage. |
