Through our projects, we promote access to a quality education with equal opportunities in contexts of exclusion and vulnerability in the following areas Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe. We believe that guaranteeing the right to quality education is the means for change and social justice and a transversal axis in each of the 5 causes we defend: right to education, migration and refuge, gender equity, socio-environmental justice and citizen participation. For Entreculturas it is fundamental that all our actions generate equal opportunities and are responsible and transparent with all the people who support us.

In 2022 Entreculturas received a total income of 22,728,672 euros, an amount that exceeds the budgeted income forecast by 19% and which demonstrates that the institution continues to make great efforts in fundraising. As for the origin of the funds, around 33.5% came from public sources and 66.5% from private sources.
The total funds allocated to our mission in 2022 amounted to €20,370,880, representing more than 90% of the total. With this budget, we promoted 204 projects in 45 countries (19 in Latin America, 15 in Africa, 4 in Asia and 7 in Europe), which allowed us to support a total of 361,442 people. On the other hand, funds dedicated to management expenses, 2,250,412 euros, represented an increase of 9.9% over the total.

Audit and transparency
At Entreculturas we submit our management to external controls to ensure the smooth running and maximum transparency of our daily activities.
Our financial statements are audited annually by Forward Economics, S.L.P. and, in addition, we have the “Accredited NGDO” seal granted by the Fundación Lealtad and the “Accredited NGDO” seal granted by the Fundación Lealtad . NGDO evaluated” seal of the Spanish NGDO Coordinating Committee. As part of our commitment to quality and transparency, we also audit the projects we execute. Specifically, in the last 5 years we have audited 70% of the funds managed for projects.
