Deloitte joins “Soy acogida” (I am a host)
More than 100 million people in the world have been forced to migrate in search of better opportunities and to leave behind realities of conflict, poverty or exclusion. However, along the way, they have to face new adversities such as violence, rejection or mafias. Especially women and children, who are more vulnerable in these situations.
Pueblos Unidos and Entreculturas work to promote a culture of hospitality, social justice, inclusion and solidarity through the Soy Acogida program. Soy Acogida program.
This initiative includes the provision of housing, legal assistance and psychosocial support for migrants, as well as their integration into the labor market through vocational training and personal skills improvement programs.
At Deloitte* we also want to be welcoming, opportunities and future.
“Getting here was quite a shock, like an impact.
However, I can say with propriety that I had a lot of support from the country, there are institutions that exist and are very good, among them Pueblos Unidos”.
(Trina, Training and Employment Program)
* Through this fundraising initiative, Deloitte, within the global framework of its WordClass program, wants to channel the solidarity of its professionals and contribute to the actions that Entreculturas develops throughout Spain.
