Our colleague, María Luisa Caparrós Spá, has attended, through the campaign Move for Equality, Its fair, the Forum of Beijing + 15, held in New York from March 1 to 12, at the United Nations, where several civil society organizations have joined efforts on government promoted gender equiality. Reconstruction continues in Haiti two months after the earthquake

Two months after the earthquake, Haiti struggles to survive. Our local partners on the field, the Jesuit Refugee and Migrant Service and the Popular Education Movement, Fe y Alegria, are combining their work of helping individuals and overall proposals. On their last meeting they have worked for consensus on a document to present at the Donors Conference which will be held in New York next March 31. Read+

       
   

Hundreds of dead ant 2 million affected by the earthquake in Chile

On the dawn of Saturday, February 27, the earth shook with force in Chile. An earthquake of 8.8 in the Ritcher scale, shook the country, leaving hundreds of dead and more than 2 million badly affected. Entreculturas, without forgetting Haiti, has also thoughts for the Chilean people in this new catastrophe. Read+
