It has also been agreed that the Company of Jesus will continue developing a social labour through action centres, studies and publications, as the ones carried out by the Universitary Institute of Studies on Emigration (IEM), in the University of Comillas (Madrid, The Centre of Studies on Social Integration and Education of Immigrants (CeiMigra), of Valencia, and the Migra-Studium Foundation, in Barcelona. These Studies will go hand in hand of the direct job with populations, as the ones in prisons, homeless people, or of the peripheral belts of our cities in social and economic precarious conditions.

The Company of Jesus analyses its social action

Entreculturas has been present in the meeting about Jesuit Social Apostolate held in Madrid last month of May. A meeting that has helped social acts of the Company of Jesus to analyse and reinforce the common points, and elaborate joint solutions to global questions, which at present they have to face.
In this meeting were highlighted what would be the three main priorities of the Jesuit social action for the coming years: Immigration, minors in risk and Development Cooperation. As the social act of the Company, these three lines of action will mark Entreculturas' job.
