Entreculturas presents REDEC in the 5th Educared Congress

Entreculturas explained to the more than 2.000 attendants, the creation of the online education platform REDEC targeted to the education community (children, youth, parents and teachers) so that they may share solidarity ideas and help to find new ideas and resources in order to work for a fairer world, through blogs, news and documents exchange and planning of events.

The 5th Educared Congress was held on November 26, 27 and 28, with the participation of relevant personalities such as Bernardo Hernández González, World Director of Google Marketing Products or Zaryn Dentzel, Founder and CCO of Tuenti.

Prize awarded to Fe y Alegría Peru

During the Congress, Fundación Telefónica and the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI) awarded a prize to Fe y Alegría Peru for its education work throughout the years and specially for its programme of New Technologies in the classrooms. Manuel Castells, the prestigious sociology professor at Berkeley University, was also awarded a prize.

Luis Arancibia, Entreculturas Deputy Director, received the prize representing Fe y Alegría Peru and was very moved. He explained Fe y Alegria´s work and its objective as an international organization.
Fundación Telefónica and the OEI thus seek to acknowledge the work of institutions that promote innovation in education with the ICTs.
