Because in the last years, the word gender has been acquiring a strong presence in different spaces: International cooperation, university, media and others. On some occasions, its significance has turned opaque and confuse.

However, a good understanding of what it means and its implications may help us to open doors to a transforming education where the human being is a treasure with inclusion and social justice as goals to achieve.

At Entreculturas we have worked on a booklet of basic concepts and tools for education in this global citizenship. The booklet is an invitation to deepen in a complex concept for a complex process: solidarity and justice for all.
    
As in other years, the Global Campaign for Education invites us to participate in the Global Action Week for education which will take place from April 11 to 17.
